Hello! We are back from a little tour of Cockermouth! Hmm… Cockermouth, sounds familiar? Cockermouth was horribly and devastatingly flooded back in 2009! Now, when we opened up The Linden Tree on the Square, we were not aware that there was another Linden Tree in Cockermouth but through bungled deliveries from suppliers, we, inevitably found each other! Hence our sojourn to visit our ‘sister’ Tree! If you ever head to the Lake District for a holiday or are just passing through, Cockermouth is a ‘must visit’!!! Boy has this town recovered! The streets are beautifully renovated with Linden Trees flanking each side and the little independent shops too many to mention are amazing in their variety and uniqueness. Such a friendly, pretty place with great eateries! Well done Cockermouth …. as for The Linden Tree? It is a stunning accessories shop full of pretty things and It was so lovely to meet the girls at last! … Your turn next Linda! :) xxx
