Hello again, Anna Canzano KATU here. The Clackamas County Sheriffs office says the driver in last nights rollover crash in Molalla was 18 year old Tashne West of Mulino, OR. She says she was driving 5 friends in her familys 1993 Ford Bronco to go camping. Ms. West said she was driving about 25 mph when the vehicle began accelerating on its own, so she tried pushing on the brakes to slow it. She was unable to stop the vehicle, by using the brakes, so she pulled off to the side of the gravel road, which caused a crash and the vehicle to roll several times. The sheriffs office says none of the 6 occupants was wearing a seat belt. Two of the passengers were ejected. A 17 year old male passenger said the vehicle rolled over his hip and arm, and another 17 year old male passenger said the vehicle came to rest on his knee, but his friends were able move the vehicle off of his knee. The other passengers were 19 year old Ashley Burkey of Canby, OR; 18 year old Nick Bartell of Canby, OR; and a 16 year old male.
