Hello all! I was out flea market shopping at Gold Rush sales in both Oronoco, MN and Rochester MN. Looking as always for fun sewing related items and I got this little fiddlebase and coffin top lady. She did come with her intact coffin top box. She is a Singer and is very intriguing to me. I see her numbers plate as having no letter prefix. Serial numbers 327667 then a space and more numbers 391667. I have not cleaned her at all yet. I tried to look at Singer serial numbers web site as well as ISMACS web site and I I dont see a sequence like this. Her decals are very thin lines in what seems to be a simple floral design. I think she is missing her side drawer or drawers? She does have a small swing out drawer in the center front. I do not see any round bobbin but there may be a bullet shuttle in there under the frozen slide plates. She has a big wire coil on the underside and a bar that looks to go straight horizontal. Is she a chain stitcher? Wheel is frozen for now but will work on that too. How should I be reading her many Singer serial numbers to get a correct year and model? Is she a Class 12? She was sitting in the hot sun right after a slight rain shower and looks like she was in a barn for a while. I love her and want to give her a good home. :D
