Hello all, My name is Osman Koroma. I am the Media Specialist, Volunteer Coordinator, & Assistant Camp Director for Opportunities Unlimited for the Blind. All of at OUB believe that blindness is not the characteristic that defines persons who are blind or visually impaired or their futures. At each of our camps, we raise campers’ expectations because we believe that low expectations create obstacles for people who are blind or visually impaired to achieve their dreams. We are asking for your ideas to help us make the Blind Planet a place where all of our friends who are blind or visually impaired can prosper, feel at home, and gain skills to help them succeed in life. So, campers and parents, if we were to develop an app, what should it do so that we can teach more people about blindness and about what we do? Is there an app that you wish existed to help you do something that you currently have to rely on others who are sighted, or on clunky, bulky technology? How we can help our campers to become employed and good taxpayers? How we can help our campers achieve their dreams?
