Hello all. Something unsettling happened this morning. I went to my sliding glass doors to my back yard to let my dogs out, they started barking like crazy. I looked up to find a man in full camo dress, along with his face painted to match. I wasnt thinking and started walking to confront him. Halfway into my back yard I asked him what he was doing. He pointed to my next door neighbors home and said they gave him permission to hunt there. I said thats really odd because you arent next door and you are on my property. Also, our yards are 3/4 of an acre so how is it you would be hunting here. He said he was going to hunt just behind out homes. Thats also private property and belongs to my friends. He started moving across the back of my yard and thats when I noticed a second man with him. At that point I told him he can tell his story to the police and I went into my home and called 911. The two men bolted to a silver SUV, I believe an Explorer with out of state plates. Please watch your homes and your neighbors as well. Im glad I was home, my 17 year old daughter was upstairs asleep. I dont know what I was thinking by walking into my yard, I should have immediately called 911. Be safe. That really rattled me.....
