Hello and good morning my brothers and sisters. I hope you all had a wonderful rest last night and wonderful day today. May this day fill your spirit with love and compassion. Yesterday was a very interesting day for me. It started very well and ended very challenging. It began with me spending time with my natural mother and blessing her with food in preparation for the Winter as any son would do. We enjoyed a great lunch and a few laughs. As the day ended, my wife made we aware that we had been robbed. Our storage was broken into. As I investigated my storage, I noticed all my childhood things were missing. Things that were dear to my heart. All my collectables that I held onto all these years were gone. My heart sunk and my spirit became very challenged. Every bit of me was fighting not to lose my compassion for people. I felt as a part of my life was stolen. As I sat there pondering the feeling of anger and forgiveness, I reached deep within myself to find the truth my spirit needed. I realized that deep down within myself there is something that no person could ever steal from me. That is my spirit. All those things I owned were just material things. Material things that had my memories, my attachments to them but they were not my life. They did not make up who I was. They were not the love that I carry in my heart. I realized the truth in the whole matter. The truth in the matter is our material stuff with all those memories do not make who we are. Just like money, things come and go. Houses and cars, titles and clothes and even our body. It is who we are now and what is important to us in this moment in our lives.
