Hello and greetings from us to you on this fine day. (a bit grey here but not snowing... good thing ). Gordon and I, (pic. one, us--the blonde is comming back soon :) ) have been chatting quite a bit in the last few months about Off the Wall Retro (and planning). How the shop has progressed in such a short time (ALL THANKS TO YOU!), how much we enjoy it and what we could do to to infuse some excitement, fun and make it inviting. The biggest problem with the old shop design--we felt like sentries on duty at the edge of the shop. Intimidating and off-putting for many people. We needed to overcome and turn this dilemma around, this time. (pic. two, Off the Wall Retro Funked, Fab and Oh! soooo Groovy!!!!) On a 10 x 10 foot space and with moveable interlocking units, we came up with the Greek key style shop. It affords us a place to sit and relax and BEST OF ALL, one of privacy to hunters behind the key wall. (Quirky but I dont like people staring at me either when I find something special, lol--pic. three, a peek to treasures around the bend) Did you know that Off the Wall Retro has 460+ mid century/vintage accents items right now...(yes, in that little space and 149 of these are German pottery, lol) and many more gems waiting in the wings to come in. WOWZER! UNBELIEVABLE! Think we are the largest shop with WGP this side of Montreal till you hit TO. Time for me to stop yakkin and start uploading. Coming up, this weeks SNEAK PEEKS. Enjoy the posts.
