Hello apartment-hunters! My friend Gabriel and I are looking for a third roommate to join us in our lovely 3br/1ba apartment in Crown Heights! Its in a fantastic area (a 15-20 minute walk from Prospect Heights proper), and is a pretty great apartment – newly renovated, large common area (space for both a couch AND a kitchen table!), first floor but in the back (no street noise!) with outside access, new appliances, etc. The catch is that all three bedrooms are teensy, but hey, thats New York, right? Attached is a video I took when I first visited the apartment, although some things have changed since then (the first bedroom shown is now larger because we had them remove the closet to make more room for a full bed). I have dimensions for all the bedrooms if youre interested. Total rent is $2400, so your portion would be $800. The owner wants everyone on the lease, so move-in is first and security, plus an application fee. To tell you a little more about the two of us... Were both crazy/artsy/nerdy people in our early twenties. One of us does freelance photography and theater stuff, the other is a writer and filmmaker. We also both juggle and fire-spin and spend way too much time thinking about Doctor Who (our apartment is a 20-25 minute walk from the Way Station!) and Welcome to Night Vale.
