Hello boys and girls... So tonight was going to be the final night of my journey around Runcorn to visit all your smiling faces AND raise money for the wonderful cause that is Camp Project Wales. However, I have been in talks with my elves and we have agreed that we will add an extra night of visiting on Monday evening. We know how disappointed many of you must have been and we are very grateful to you all for the support you have given us. Because of this my elves and I have agreed to give up an extra evening to try and complete the routes we were unable to finish due to weather, technology and sheer numbers of people who came out to see me. Please remember that my journey around Runcorn is only possible because volunteers give up their evenings, at this incredibly busy time, to bring a bit more magic to Christmas and raise money for a very worthwhile cause. Even though many of them look like elves, they are in fact human and it is impossible for them to help me meet every child and have my photo taken with lots too! If your road was on one of our routes that we couldnt complete then please remember that this is not because any of you have been naughty but because we are only allowed to be out during certain hours. All of this means that on Monday, we will do our best to get around to those roads we have missed but that as ever we cant promise to get to everyone. We havent had chance to map out our exact route yet so look out for updates on Monday. We will be starting at 6.30 as normal and have to be finished by 9 so well be out between those hours. Also, we wont be knocking on doors so youll need to watch and listen out for us :) This is all the info we have at the moment, there will be more on Monday and dont for get that all of my visiting is to raise some money for a wonderful cause so please bring some pennies!
