Hello esteemed readers and followers. By way of updates: 1. My article for 2013 about implementing e-learning at the University of Guyana will soon be available for download. This should have been published since December 2013; however, there have been some technical problems with the Online Journal. The full title of it is the following: - Implications of implementing a hybrid learning approach at the University of Guyana. 2. I have been feverishly reviewing and editing four (4) of my books for publication - ranging from 55pages, 78pages, 127pages and 130pages (Not much writing was done in 2013, due to studies, so I am making up for lost time). These have been pending for quite a while now. They are complete and ready to be sent to the publishing house in Germany. These are: - Curriculum Review: Analysis of a Spanish Translation Course Curriculum from the University of Guyana (IN PRESS) - Diseño de un curso de español para principiantes basado en los principios de CALL (IN PRESS) - Glosario de cien términos del Medio Ambiente (IN PRESS) - Diseño de una unidad didáctica de intercambio cultural dirigida a profesores de español (IN PRESS) 3. I am currently working on three journal article to be sent for review and eventual publication. These are: - Constructive alignment and the curriculum: A call for improved pedagogical practices in higher education -Improving curriculum design and development: A case study from the University of Guyana. - Learning and teaching effectiveness in the Digital Age: A case study from a Pacific tertiary education provider
