Hello everybody, I was hoping someone could give me some advice. My boyfriend and I will be arriving in Taiwan around the beginning of May. Weve done a bit of research and really feel we would enjoy living in Kaohsiung. We both have degrees, CELTAs and two years teaching experience in Thailand. Ive been looking for work online but can only really find part-time work or institutions looking to hire only one person. I know this question has been asked a thousand times before, but we were wondering if its best to just turn up and look for work or try to find jobs before arriving (possibly in another location in Taiwan such as Taipei or Hsinchu)? Is there more work available than is advertised online? Also, what do you think our chances are of finding work in the same school/language centre?
