Hello everybody! I’m sorry I’m a little later this morning - TopicsExpress

Hello everybody! I’m sorry I’m a little later this morning with my barkings! Mummy seems to get busier every day and now that she’s working hard on the cross stitch piece in the afternoons, she hasn’t so much time free! I keep telling her to slow down and follow my example – a snooze makes all the difference to the day! But she LIKES being busy! (I don’t understand that at all!) She should learn from Daddy and me... we both understand the importance of taking some ‘down time’! Mummy says she understands the theory but she’s never been able to just sit and do... nothing! Hmmpph! I think she may be a lost cause, but I’ll keep working on her! BOL! It was really quite chilly and overcast when we went out for our morning walk, this morning! And do you know what? I REALLY wuved it! It was great to take a walk without getting too hot and I was much more enthusiastic than I’ve been on those very hot mornings! I think I shall miss the sun, if it stays away for too long BUT it was perfect weather for my walk! Clancy and his family are still away and we didn’t see Scruffy and his mummy, which was sad. I’m looking forward to seeing Scruffy after his visit to the groomers... I think we may need to call him ‘Smartie’ for a while! BOL We DID see three cats and I’m VERY proud to say that the score is BRENNA – 3 / Cats – 0! BOL! Isn’t that amazing? Actually, I didn’t do anything to earn the points... they saw us coming and just walked off slowly... It’s not really in the spirit of the game, is it? We thought we’d have more of a game with two of the cats as, when we were heading towards the old farmhouse, they were standing in the road way at varying distances away from us, but they just wandered off before we even got that close! Even so, I’m declaring it a victory to ME! We saw the man who has a field where the cats like to go. He was outside his house and mummy and he exchanged words about the weather and then we saw the man with the chickens. I was hoping I’d get to see them again but he was in his car and just spoke to us for a few minutes from there... Never mind; maybe I’ll get the chance to see them another day! It was fun getting home as I knew that I had my wuvely treats as a reward for being a good girl! Mummy never gives me too much but I enjoyed half a ‘Cheese, Yes Please’ bone and a piece of carrot! Right now, I’m going to take a snooze, while Mummy works, and then I’ll be ready for my training in a little while... I hope you are all enjoying the week; we’re halfway through it already! Have fun and keep those tails wagging! Kisses and licks, Brenna
