Hello everybody! THIS is NOT a service experience, okay, but it is something that I found oddly amusing. I stopped at Kroger for lunch (I like their salmon dinners). As I stood in line I began to observe the behavior of a rather large man who stood in front of me. Wait a minute. I need to keep it one hundred. The man could have easily been 500 pounds. And he was not tall. Maybe five foot nothing. Now let me be clear, his weight is not why I found him amusing. You see, at first I thought he was speaking into his Bluetooth while placing his order because when he gave the server his meat choice his arms went up and he loudly said, Yes, praise God! The server then asked which side items and the man answered and threw his arms up again while repeating, Yes! Praise God! I stood there thinking to myself, this man is not talking on his phone, hes talking tothe server who still has to ask him if he wants dessert and if he wants a roll or cornbread. Lawd, hammercy! Is this man going to rejoice and flail them short arms each time? Slowly I started inching back. The man behind me whispered, cmon back, lady. We got us a nut! Now why did he say that? As hard as I tried I could NOT keep the laughter inside. I laughed so hard tears came! lol But then I thought, Tres, you better get to praying too before this man turns around! Please, God, dont let this round man who excites over food think that I am laughing at him. But the man was so busy salivating that he never once glanced back. I have never ever seen anything like that. It was funny, scary and unbelievable. When it was my turn to order the server an older gentleman with a poker face asked, Maam, how will you be praying today?
