Tony has made great progress, yet he has a long way to go. He had paracarditus really bad prior to surgery (we did not know this) That is causing excessive draining in the lung tube. This tube is causing major discomfort for him. He is having to get pain meds more frequently because of it. He is also in what they call A Flutter, meaning his heart muscles are not pumping as they should. He has been on meds for this condition. They have started giving him coumadin to help keep the blood from clotting. He has walked 2 times each day. He had walked 300 ft while he was in ICU. He has since walked 400 + ft each time. We will more than likely go him on Monday. Please continue to pray for his recovery. Thank you for all the calls, texts, and FB messages.
