Hello everyone, Derek here, and it is with a heavy heart I am posting this status. At 1:53 AM today, the world got a little darker when my mother went to her reservations at the hotel diner. She had been battling a long, hard, battle with gastric cancer complicated by renal failure. In the end, she was finally at peace this morning. I know how much she meant to so many of you, and as such I will be leaving this page open and active in her memory. Please feel free to post your feelings, memories, words of kindness, etc. I will be logging on here to maintain the page, share things Mom would have shared, and just generally keep the page up. I only ask that everyone be kind in regards to what you have to say and if you interact with one another on here. Remember Moms golden rule of the internet (and life): Dont be a dick.
