Hello everyone! Hope all are fine and dandy this day that the Lord has made! Rainy here in my neck of the woods. Today I am thankful for my sister, Sheila Kaye Barnes and her husband Harold Barnes. They have always included me in their family and shared their kids with me. Unlike most married couples they dont think being single is contagious, so they invite me to their get togethers, not only me, but other singles as well. She is my best friend and I can share any thing with her and know it wont go any further, unless I tell it is okay to tell. She and Harold have been rocks I can lean on. He is the best mechanic in the world, and has fixed my cars over the years and kept them going. Love his heart, he does a lot for me. He is a perfect example of what a gentleman should be. I often say he needs to teach a class on how to treat your wife. He still treats my sister as though he is dating her. Drops her off at the door at church, walks beside her when they are walking, holds the door for her and gets a smooch whenever he can! LOL! Just ask Jessica, Tyler and Erica how they act when you go with them someplace. Im not joking about the class, he needs to teach it to young and old alike. You want to get his dander up, let him see a man walking in front of his wife, and not helping her with the kids, and walking in before them in the door. He doesnt like it a bit. It would pay if some of these men would pay attention to how he treats his wife. Up until this year they kept my yard mowed for me and kept it looking good. (This year my nephew, Tyler, did it, so they wouldnt have to.) They both live for God and live a life that is an example of what Christians should be like. They both work for the kingdom of God in any way they can. The last few years I dont know what I would have done without them. She took my dad every other day to dialysis and to all his doctor appointments and saw to his affairs before and after his death. They are the bestest in the world and I am so thankful they are in my life!!
