Hello everyone! I am excited to join this group as being a person who has been the target of horrible parental alienation. As a psychologist, I have decided to turn my own pain and experience with this topic into something positive, so I am doing a study with a colleague of mine on parental alienation, and hope to use it to make better recommendations to courts, lawyers, families, and other professionals for how to deal with this problem better- Here are some more details if you are interested...and you are free to directly message me about it as well- I am happy to network with others who been dealing with this problem! -------------------------------------------------------- We are researchers at Colorado State University conducting a study about parental alienation, which involves one or both parents actively estranging or turning their children against the other parent. We are looking for parents who have been victims of alienation to take part in a research study. The study involves a short 10-minute survey, along with the opportunity to be interviewed for more details about your experience. Our hope is to publish a book about parental alienation to inform professionals and the public about the extent of this problem, and provide recommendations for how to make things better.
