Hello everyone, I am writing this for two reasons. First, I want everyone to know that my mom Juanita Faye Banik passed away at 11:35 a. m. July 6, 2014. She was at Dawsons Funeral Home and we buried her on my birthday July 10, 2014. This has been a very, very, hard week for my entire family. I have chosen for years to stay by and care for both of my parents because it is what I promised them I would do. I have not one regret over this action, in fact, the older my parents both got the closer I got to them. I have driven out to the nursing home each night since her passing, and I have went to the cemetery each day also just to check on her gravesite I guess. My whole life is in a tailspin right now. Even though my mom was critically ill for months she just had a will for life that would not quit until the very end. So, please say a prayer for my mom to rest in peace and be happy in heaven with Jesus and catch up with Dad and Rick and let her know I will be fine I just have to figure out a new priority list and get in gear for whatever changes await me. I have always said through all of the time I helped both my mom and dad there would always be time left for me. I knew there would be somehow, someway, someday, and now look, it is right in front of me. As for my birthday, I look at that as an honor to know that is just one more special memory that my mom and I will have forever to add to the other thousands of memories I already hold close to my heart of her as my mom, my best friend, and the greatest person I have ever known in my life.
