Hello everyone, I have a question to all of you: All these years I have managed composing music without any notation software (either I didnt need it, wrote it by hand or sometimes I used musescore (to all of you who dont know musescore: its free but pretty much serves the purpose)). Now I have come to the point that I guess I cant take any stop further without a good software, and so my question to you is, what would you recommend me? Finale? Sibelius? Other recomendations? What are the pros and cons of each? I basically need it to write music for films (or the like); pasting MIDI-files should be easy. What would be great, if there was the function to switch between the score how it sounds, and the way it is written (when using transposed instruments). Thanks a lot in advance!
