Hello everyone!!! I have narrowed our choices of caterers down to two. I would personally recommend the first one listed ... Christophers Old World Deli and Catering Company. They have been around the longest and have more recommendations than Sellecks. They are going to cost about the same in the end ..... $22.00 per person. We also need to add a tip to that .... about 18 to 20%, depending on the service, is the average from what Ive been told by most people that I have asked. So, we can add that to the total to be collected, if everyone is in agreement. I have received the most help and information from Christophers. His wife is also willing to meet us a day earlier to give us advice in set up (and whatever else we will need to know) so that all will go smoothly the day of. She also said that in the last six years, it has rained on that weekend, so a plan B will be needed. She is familiar with the North Star House, as she has catered there several times and knows the ins and outs. So, please give me some input on your preferences. Both caterers also want me to stress to you all that these menus are just their own suggestions and can be changed up or added to. Im looking forward to your feedback. Christophers Old World Deli and Catering Company christophersdeli Menu: Delivery at 9:45 Large fruit tray Delivery and Service at 11:30 Christophers will deliver and setup the lunch, providing the plates, silverware, and napkins. We will serve the buffet line, assist any guest in service who needs help. Bus equipment, leave all leftovers. Chicken Marsala Herb Basmatti Rice Seasonal Vegetable Mixed Green Salad with 2 dressings choices Rolls and Butter Dessert to be provided by the client Snack to be Chips and Salsa and Bean dip. Beverage station will include Water and Ice Tea in beverage containers nicely displayed. The per person will be 22.00 per person including tax, not gratuity. Delivery and set up of the lite snack after lunch service, platters to be returned to Christophers at 206 West Main St, located next to the holbrooke hotel. Sellecks Catering/Mobile BBQ sellecksbbq I have a rough menu for you: Chicken thighs cooked on charcoal and finish with peach wood smoke with sauce Corn bread with sharp cheddar cheese and chilies Cesar salad with finely grated Parmesan and croutons corn on the cob grilled roasted veggie pasta salad with balsamic vinaigrette Baked beans with burger, home made no cans. Apple crisp with brown sugar and granny smith apples All plates, napkins, table ware provided by others. I can do it if needed for an added $1.25 per person. $18.75 per person 8.125% tax (Remember that someone .... more than likely myself .... will need to buy the plate, napkins, and table ware.
