Hello everyone, I need your advice please. I went to family law information center on Tuesday to get some information on separate and custody. They took me to talk to a family court support worker and a law student was there too. I told them husband and I had an argument on Saturday, he pushed me while holding our baby of 8 month. They immediately said they need to report to CAS and brought a lawyer in and said if I do not cooperate, I am considered enabling my hubby and putting our child in danger. I had no option but to comply and they called CAS with me, and I told them what happened. They said CAS will contact this week to schedule an appt. I am very scared now that they might take the child away and report to police and arrest hubby. Can I refuse to talk to CAS, what do I do when CAS calls? Please help. Thank you guys.
