Hello everyone. I posted in here a while back about my nephew. He was diagnosed with DIPG in October of 2013. He has been an amazing fighter. He hasnt been sick or bed riden or anything. The radiation and chemo didnt make him sick. He is still a normal child. Running and playing and going to school. He finished his radiation on New Years Eve and has been doing chemo and an experimental drug. He went for an MRI yesterday and the results were good and bad. The tumor has shrunk from 4.1 cm to 2.7 cm but......the tumor is bleeding so the doctors have stopped all meds. He is on nothing for a month and then will follow up with a new MRI next month. Has anyone ever had this happen? What is next? What will happen to him without meds? What does the tumor bleeding mean? Thanks
