Hello everyone :) I recently have visited Hong Kong for the first time in lieu of their biggest arts and music festival, Clockenflap. I had a lot of amazing experiences and adventures in my travel. I often would be up and about walking during late nights and early mornings to just drink in the street scenes and quietly observe people up-close and from a distance. Needless to say, I fell in-love with the place. I had an initial, caffeine-fluxed sketch formerly, just to quote a grasp of what I felt about the city, Bustlin, Hong Kong, Hustlin. Upon my arrival back at the studio, I worked in between painting and this project. This has been one of the most recent precision works I have done so far, and I have such immense respect for folks who do this because of theres really a lot of prep-work behind these things, as I am reminded of and learnt. Here are some of the snaps I took of the WIPs. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.
