Hello everyone, It was a long day today! What a roller coaster of emotions! Started at a nursing home to serve over 140 elderly people with all kinds of mental and physical disabilities. Everywhere you turn you had your heart broken. So may different needs which needed to be met, but the team did a great job in loving them. We also went to Rayitos de Luz - Rays of Light - orphanage. The kids were such a blessing to the tea. Being with them, playing, eating and just being there to hold and be hold. The highlight of both times was Nathan Woody the Clown King. He hopped, and played and made funny noises and made both elderly and young laugh out loud. He brought a little relief to the suffering at the nursing home and a time of fun and enjoyment to the orphanage. What a blessing to have this kid as a part of our team!! Also, thank you to my daughter Joselyne for being his partner in his act . . . I wish I could use more exclamation points just to be able to express how proud we all are of of Nathan and Joselyne. Now the team is all trying to rest and gather their strength for the next task. One more thing before I sign off tonight, Cena was here today. She has a big part to possibly play in our Thanksgiving dinner . . . more about Cena in other future posts. Good nigh and sleep well!
