Hello everyone! It will very soon be our busiest time of the year, with wedding season in full effect and the Holidays coming up, we wanted to give you all some tips when it comes to ordering a cake to make the process the fastest and most efficient for everyone. * When inquiring about ordering a large tiered or wedding cake, please call and schedule a consultation. These can vary a lot by size, price and decor. In order to better serve you, it is best that we can sit down and talk about it together. *Plan ahead and order your cake as soon as possible. Preferably at least a week in advance. That way we can have things prepared and get specialty items for you if needed. Thursday is the latest we accept orders for the upcoming weekend. *Please bring in any pictures, ideas and color schemes that you may have. These are very helpful in letting us know what kind of design or look you are going for. I usually always suggest looking on Pinterest or Google for some inspiration. *Know your budget and how many guests you will need to serve the cake to. (This goes right along with planning ahead) It makes things easier for us in helping you to decide which cake size and design will fit your occasions needs the best in ensuring that you will have enough for everyone. *Another important thing to think about when ordering a cake is how you will be transporting the cake, and where you will plan to store it if not presenting it the same day. Clear some room out in the fridge and the car :) *Please allow ample time before the party for pickup and travel time. If your party is at 12pm, you might want to schedule the cake pickup when ordering at least a few hours before. Please do not come earlier than your scheduled pickup time, as we are on a prioritized timeline to have orders done at a certain time. *Last but not least, help us help you by remembering whos name is on the cake order form so we can get your cake to you faster, rather than searching around our many orders looking for a certain type of cake etc. I hope these tips help you guys out, and feel free to suggest anything else you think might help everyone out and be of some use!
