Hello everyone, Ive applied for a few Artist Alleys and got in at Otakon 2013 no problem. Tried applying to Katsucon, Otakon again, and AnimeUSA, but have been wait-listed every time. I sell prints, short comics, at-table drawing/commissions, even hats. My partner will sell pillows and small plushies. During Katsucon, we were told they were looking for more diversity among the artists. For Otakon and AnimeUSA, we were not given an answer. Just wondering, what exactly are the jurors looking for? Going through the conventions this year, Ive been seeing a LOT of buttons and pins, some crafts, still a lot of prints, and a good amount of sewing crafts and goods (particularly at Otakon).
