Hello everyone, My name is Colby Townsend and I am a student at the University of Utah in comparative literature, focusing on the Hebrew Bible. I have been engaged in discussions recently about what kind of consensus reigns today on the Documentary Hypothesis (DH) in the academy, and am wondering if you would not mind sharing your thoughts on the DH. Also, if anyone knows of any current studies looking at the question of where the DH sits generally today, that would help a lot. I think we are all aware that much of European scholarship has rejected the DH for other models, but I am still curious as to what extent, if at all, it is accepted there. Thanks!
