Hello everyone! My name is Dylan Longpré, and I have been working with Francois for a number of years on the Army Cadet History website. Recently, Francois and I have been working on Version 2.0 of the website; a major facelift to the current site. There will be a whole new look to the website very soon! This project is quite large, and it will continue to grow in size and in page views. With that in mind, both Francois and I are recruiting members to join our team! Cheers! --------------------------- Currently Recruiting --------------------------- > Website Content Editors > Translators --------------------------- Position Details --------------------------- Website Content Editor – would help create and edit website content. Images and content is submitted to a general email, and the editors would compile, upload, and edit content to the website. Final postings to the website would be approved by website admins. Translators – Are a vital component to reach all stakeholders across our nation. Translators would take already created English content, and translate it into French, in our online content management system. Candidates should have previous translating experience in other professional fields, in addition to the prerequisites listed below. --------------------------- Prerequisites --------------------------- Individuals: > Must be able to access and navigate a computer comfortably (Facebook, email, Youtube, MS Word, etc) > Should have strong proof-reading skills > Have good knowledge about the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Program (past, present, or both) > Would be considered an asset (BUT IT IS NOT MANDATORY) if they have experience in general web content management systems (CSM), specifically WordPress --------------------------- Training --------------------------- All members of the team will receive training on how to properly use Wordpress CMS and how to follow our visual standards. Support and help will always be available. --------------------------- Commitment --------------------------- Q: How many hours a week will I have to help? A: What ever you can give!
