Hello everyone. Sorry I havent updated about Eastyn. We have been busy enjoying the weather! Today E had clinic. His platelets and hemoglobin were good. However, his ANC (absolute neutrophil count) is on the verge of neutropenia. Meaning, his immune system is barely doing its job. So we are back to masks and trying to stay home more frequently. Especially, since its cold season. Eastyn has been doing his best to fight the slight cold he has now. Hes been very grouchy and tired lately. Today was nice because for the first time Eastyn played while getting chemo instead of watching a movie. It shows hes adjusting very well to this lifestyle and nothing will hold him back!!! Thats the boy Im raising!!! We are hoping to be in maintenance in November!! Then we will be doing oral chemo daily and visiting the hospital for chemo in his port, monthly instead of weekly/10 days. Slowly making climbing that mountain!! :)
