Hello everyone!! TNC2014 IS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!! I know everyone has been asking a lot of questions. I hope this post will help you. Its very long but hopefully very helpful. :) Here are a few things to keep in mind: 1. On-site registration: - Registration: opens at 1 pm - Room check-in: 3 pm - Sisters register and store luggage in the ballroom in Vanier Residence, 15-20mins away from main venue - Brothers register and store luggage in the Kootenay Unit Lounge in Totem Residence, 30-40mins away from main venue - If you come in late, head straight to the War Memorial Gym and look for the Pacific Region couple coordinators to get your ID. Just a friendly reminder that security will not let you in the venue without the TNC ID. So wear your ID’s at all times. Guard your……..ID’s. #GYID LOL okay. 2. Program - TNC will start with the rosary at 4:45PM followed by Mass at 5:00PM. Come in appropriate Mass attire. - The Holy Mass will be celebrated every morning, every day. YEY! - There will be confession on Saturday afternoon. - There will be Adoration on Saturday evening. - TNC ends at 1:05PM on Sunday. 3. What to bring (besides clothing): - Flower crowns - Purple clothing/Pacific purple tie-dye shirts - Toiletries - Towel - Tumbler/water bottle - Sundays best clothing for Holy Mass - Rosary - Prayer journal - Pen/paper - Cash for Ablaze merchandise (shirts, books, etc) and instant printed photos from the photo booth ($5/photo) - Sports and Creatives attire if you’re competing. 4. Parking and transportation within UBC - Flat rate is $8. If you move your car from one spot to another, that will be another $8. - If you wish to bring long boards, penny boards, bikes, scooters, roller blades and whatever, you are free to do so. However, UBC and CFC will not be held liable for any losses. 5. Transportation to UBC - If you are planning to commute, these are skytrain stations you can go to that has busses that go directly to UBC. - Richmond: Bridgeport Stn Canada Line - 480 bus - Vancouver: Langara 49th Stn Canada Line – 49 bus, King Edward Stn Canada Line – 25 bus, Cambie Stn Canada Line – 99 B-Line - Burnaby: Metrotown Stn Expo/Millenium Line – 49 bus - If you know any other bus routes, please comment below! 6. Reminders - BYOS (Bring your own snacks) - late-night ordering of any food of any kind will be prohibited. This will be STRICTLY enforced. You can’t leave the dorms at night to purchase food. - No need to bring blankets and pillows. You can if you want extra but these will be provided. - If you come in late tomorrow, head straight to the War Memorial Gym and look for the Pacific Region couple coordinators to claim your ID. NO ID, NO ENTRY!
