Hello everyone! We had some GREAT questions that were posted - TopicsExpress

Hello everyone! We had some GREAT questions that were posted on Friday! We have decided to answer the following: Richard Allan Jones: Does it help to have more than one picture on your website? Headshot or full figure? Character shots? Susan T Cros: How do we know that you see our pictures and information on Creative Extras Casting site? Here is the scoop... we only require one photo for registration with Creative Extras Casting. Once you upload your pic and create your profile, this is what we see. The software company that provides our amazing casting software, charges a fee of $1.00 per each additional photo. So, it is completely up to you, we do not require more than one photo. On that note, there are plenty of times that we go to submit photos for Productions, and 9 times out of 10, if we are submitting for say, Police officers, Production will pick the people in actual police uniforms! Same with the business people, they will choose people in business suits. If we are submitting for homeless folks, they pick the people with the homeless photos. Part of our job is being able to see the many sides of people (no matter how they are dressed) however, quite often, production sees what is presented and cant always see past that first picture. So, even though we do not require more than one photo as weve explained, it can definitely be helpful to Production when we are submitting pictures to them for specific looks. Once you are registered and have an account - we have you in our system. We are still getting used to the technology of having really helpful casting software, so its a learning curve for us as well. We are getting more and more familiar and hopefully will be putting up casting notices directly on our job boards soon for everyone to see. If you fall within the guidelines of what we post - our system will automatically text and/or email you the notice. Thank you for your questions! We are getting some good ones and hope that it is useful information for all of you! Have a great week!
