Hello everyone this page was created for baby Skylar Kennedy Harris. She was born on March 29, 2014 with tracheoesophageal fistula and esophageal atresia. To put it into easier terms her esophagus was not connected to her stomach but was connected to her trachea( windpipe). Skylar was born with type B, there are many forms of this connection but she has one of the rare forms which is the long gap. Im creating this page to spread the awareness of this condition known as EA/TEF. She as well as the other babies born with this condition are very special because 1 in 4000 babies is born with this condition.
