The NRMG spokesman retired Alhagie Kanteh has spoken about his groups determination and plans to topple dictator Yahya Jammehs decadent regime. Kanteh was speaking in an interview with the BBC Focus on Africa. We do not have problem with The Gambian people. We have a problem with the system in the Gambia, said Kanteh. We want Yahya Jammeh to go, Kanteh said adding that if necessary they will use arms to topple Jammeh from power. Kanteh maintains that the NRMG is a legitimate group and that they have the sovereign right to bailout The Gambia from Jammehs misrule. Kanteh also talked about the amount of blood spilled by Jammeh since coming to power. He said Jammeh has tortured and killed so many Gambians since taking the rein of power. The NRMG, he said, do will whatever in its means to restore democracy in The Gambia. Kanteh told the BBC presenter that their presence in Banjul would be felt by the world, as I would be talking to the BBC. I am sure this is not going to be our last interview We have our determination. We know a lot, but we will say very little, Kanteh said adding that their objective is to get rid of the rotten system in The Gambia.
