Hello everyone, we will be holding a special parenting workshop this Thursday (7-9pm) at Talents123 regarding what to expect and help to better understand preschoolers. A few places are still left, here is all the information: What To Expect With Preschoolers Parenting comes with many rewards and challenges. Sometimes, it may seem like your preschooler has the innate ability to push you to the outer edge of your patience. And thats on a good day. Fear not, moms and dads. Youre not alone. No one is more susceptible to being misunderstood than the preschooler. Unlike infants and toddlers, preschoolers actually bear a resemblance to grown-ups and therefore fool us into thinking that they are much more like us than they really are. The aim of this workshop is to assist parents towards a better understanding of their preschooler’s development and to propose an “inside-out” approach to parenting. About the speaker: Catherine Korah, M.Ed., c.o., psychotherapist Behaviour Management Specialist at the English Montreal School Board Licensed Counsellor Psychotherapist and a member of the OCCOQ and of the OPQ. Accredited instructor by the Crisis Prevention Institute. Studied in several domains, including a Bachelor degree in Psychology, a Masters in Educational Psychology, as well as a Post-Master professional training in Marital and Family Therapy. Currently training on an ongoing basis through the Neufeld Institute with an attachment-based developmental model. Has more than fifteen years of experience working regularly with youth, and has several years of experience working particularly in the field of education with at-risk students.
