Hello fans and friends, I am still fighting the neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer i was diagnosed w/ in 2008. I am doing well but am on chemo treatments for a year in a clinical trial at Cedars Sinai hospital testing the effects of Tumedor on pancreatic cancers. Tumedor has shown great promise on people with brain tumors and brain cancer and is used already in Europe as a standard treatment for cancers. Unfortunately, I am really sick right now from the chemo w hives all over my body and sores in my mouth. I am having trouble eating and gaining weight and I would really like to gain weight and be a big girl again. This has been an especially rough month financially with only a few shows and unfortunately, I had a lot of medical expenses this month that were not covered by my insurance. The scan I had at UCLA was not covered by my insurance and that alone was 2k. I am trying hard to be strong and stay tough but I am desperate for money now in addition to all my other issues. I know many of you suffer from the same issues and many of you have your own financial trouble so I am not asking you to contribute if you cannot afford to do so. I feel like I am in a desperate situation which is why I am posting here in this public forum. I am not supposed to be in large crowds or around large groups of people but I will continue to tour and play music world wide as much as possible. If I have to wear a mask and stop hugging my fans, so be it. Hopefully they will be happy just hearing us play music and wont need a hug from me. No hugs will be the hardest part for me! But anyway, I need your support again now if you have the means to help and havent helped me already. If you have already helped me, dont worry about it. If you are in your own health jam or have your own issues, dont give me anything. But if you can help me, I am really in a pickle.
