Hello fellow facebookers, If you are a woman and would maybe like to make some easy money, keep reading. I’m working for the Orthopedic research department at Washington University in St. Louis: School of Medicine. One of the physical therapists I’ve been working with (Dr. Harris Hayes) is currently looking for 3 hip healthy ladies to serve as controls for a study evaluating hip and back pain. The study pays $10 an hour and will take between 4 and 5 hours to complete. Participation would involve getting an MRI, having some basic movement/flexibility measurements taken and filling out a questionnaire. The only real downsides are that participation will require you to travel to Barnes Jewish Hosipital in downtown St. Louis and travel time is unpaid. The other bit I should mention is that because we are currently looking for matched controls, you will need to fit within certain parameters in order to qualify for inclusion in the study. Like I said before, we need three women with no history of hip pain. • Woman 1 should be between ages 30-40 with a BMI of 16.3-26.3 • Woman 2 should be between 18-27 with a BMI of 26.2-36.2 • Woman 3 should be between 25-35 with a BMI of 19.8-29.8 To calculate your BMI, go to google and search BMI calculator. From there you just need to choose a calculator and insert your weight and height.
