Hello fellow members! Feliz Dia di Himno i Bandera! For the past 2/3 years I have been promoting the human consumption of insects. I have had tremendous success here in New York (soon in Montreal) and the few times I have returned to my homeland of Aruba I have noticed a lot of interest in it amongst mostly my age group (Captain Planet might have something to do with it). I have met plenty of local distributors, artist and entrepreneurs of insect products i.e. cricket flour, ants, caterpillars, and who would very much like to expand internationally. I am of the opinion that Aruba is ready to make its mark and help lessen the global food inequality and sustainability crisis by leading the way. I would very much like to meet any fellow open-minded/adventurous/hardcore-driven Aruban to perhaps discuss any potential future possibilities.
