Hello fellow speciality coffee movers and shakers, Just an updated. I made contact with Karen Jensen, thanks for the suggestion Klaus :) She advised that currently people previously involved in the SCAE Danmark are looking to establish a new National Coordinator team by the end of the month. Once this team is in place a new National Coordinator can be named and then hopefully they can begin to consider plans for the DM 2015. As well as appointing a new National Coordinator, Karen also mentioned they have the important task of bring SCAE to a new level. To me New Level sounds very epic and futuristic, does this mean hoverboards for all baristas, abolishing large single lattes from all coffee menus, a free Black Eagle for all......... Truth is I dont know but hopefully it will provide long term stability within SCAE Danmark which is very important for all of us. So at this point we need to be patient, support the current process being undertaken and get behind the people involved. Ill keep in contact with Karen and ensure I keep you updated with what is going on. Any questions please feel free to drop me a line.
