Hello folks near and far, if you know me then you will have heard about the crappy situation I was in with my previous estate agent and landlord... so after a lot of sweat, money and sleepless nights I vowed to promote the useful and honest services of Jay and his lawyers at FLAg association. They have a facebook group and you can have a free consultation, should you require lawyers, the fees are considerably low for native teachers, as they work as part of a charity. The fees that are in place are reasonable and the advice honest and effective Nobody wishes to find themselves in any legal disputes, but alas we live in a place where workers rights and payment obligations are not always met, I found myself tied to a 2 year housing contract without my knowledge and various inconsistencies against me made my life a living hell. So heres some real help, if it ever comes to that (I hope it never does) but there are affordable services out there to arm ourselves with and give ourselves a decent chance, such as we would have at home. So please, dont make my mistake of trusting a kind old mans face, have someone to help interpret contracts, have your contract copy given on the day, ensure your name is on all that they will financially tie you to, dont leave it with friends to sort out, dont be afraid to seem anal about it. We get accustomed to the rush, the fast paced nature of impatient bosses or co workers etc... take your time. All the best.
