Hello from AOII Headquarters! We are excited to share with you our plans for Austin Peay State University. Our recruiting efforts have began and we have started to identify potential members of all class standings who are interested in the AOII Colonization experience. Our focus is now for our Educational Leadership Consultant (ELC) and Resident Consultant to meet and recruit additional women to participate in colonization week. We are confident that we are in a good place to grow the Fraternity and build a successful chapter at Austin Peay State University. They are on campus and conducting informational meetings for potential members and distributing materials across campus to help continue the buzz about AOII. After two weeks of PR work, the colonization week begins! Below you will find a schedule of events for colonization week and opportunities for you to become involved in the AOII colonization at Austin Peay State University. Austin Peay State University Colonization Week Monday, September 29th: Values Night, Picture Yourself in AOII The colonization team begins membership appointments on campus. Membership appointments are 25 minute group meetings where potential new members (PNMs) meet with a member of the colonization team. That evening all PNMs are invited to the first recruitment event, “Picture Yourself in AOII”. Tuesday, September 30th: AOII Preference The colonization team completes membership appointments and preference ceremonies are held. PNMs must recieve an invitation to this event to attend.
