Hello from Apopka, Florida, where we are staying with my brother and my mom. Lume, Shell and I will fly back to Paraguay this Wednesday morning. I regret that we could only see a few of you this time. Please forgive us. Pray for Michelle. She had the swine flu. Pray that she will be strong by time to fly. If you wanted me to visit your church this time, please let me know, and I will see if I can get there in July. A friend of mine is going to raise the money for my ticket from South America to Texas. There, he will loan me a vehicle for me to head to the ABA in Michigan. I have not been to an ABA meeting in many years, and feel like I really need the fellowship and need to meet a lot of our younger Pastors that do not know me. After the ABA meeting in Michigan, I will drive about ten hours to visit my sister Amy in Minnesota, who has a terminal illness. I want to be able to spend a couple of weeks with her. I had hoped to do that this trip, but money, extreme weather conditions, and other things did not allow it. My friend is going to raise the money for my ticket to the US. I will pay for my room at the meeting. If you would like to help with that, that would be great. I sure look forward to meeting many of you there. I am SO in need of being in a huge room with a couple of thousand others who believe like I do. We still owe money for the tickets for this trip. If you could help, I would appreciate it so much!! Pray for us. Every time I leave my eighty year old mom, the area where I am from, it gets harder to do it! As I write this, I feel a heaviness and sadness in my chest! Now I know I will be fine when I get on the plane, but it hurts so bad right now. I have been doing this (saying those goodbyes) for thirty three years, but they seem harder than ever!
