Hello from Maputo Mozambique. Our mission here has come to an end for now. We will work for the mission from America, sending them needed items and trying to find markets for their handcrafted items they make to earn money to feed their families. Even though we leave a big part of our hearts here, we can go knowing that we have had an impact in their lives. Jerry was instrumental in getting the workers on a new pay system; a days pay for a days work instead of just by the job, bathrooms for the school and church, music education and empowering the mission staff members to become a united group who will continue to band together to get things done. I have made some small contributions by helping with the feeding program, teaching some informal cooking classes, helping cook for the one day church and school crew, babysitting and being Mama to the younger staff members. The door is open for us to come back at a later date for either a short or longer term mission. The friends we have made and whom we will visit in their countries, we add to our list of life long friends that we will always have. Our lives have been enriched by the experience, we will walk even closer to our God and we will work even harder for the down trodden, the needy and the spiritually void. Our Pastor and church family may be disappointed that we are coming back earlier than we thought we would, but our bodies are in serious need of good food, rest and recuperation time. To that end we plan to come home, do some things to the house and hit the road traveling and enjoying our retirement. God is not finished with us yet and He will lead us where He needs us to be. ADRA and mission work are worthwhile things to support and we pray that both you and us will always do that. Thank you all dear friends for your support and love. Jerry and Tammy
