Hello guys, what I’m about to say is completely serious, final - TopicsExpress

Hello guys, what I’m about to say is completely serious, final and came after a lot of thought. This has always been in the back of my mind for longer than many have known so without further ado here goes... I am retiring from DJing and the EDM scene in general. There are a lot of reasons behind this but it ultimately follows the ideas of living a lifestyle that I feel will get me further in life in the ways I want to if I give my all to school. Ever since I made music a focus of mine I went from a straight A student to someone who was hanging on with C’s and is going to barely get into Cal State Northridge. I start school in 1 month, and this is a major fork in the road in my life where I need to give my all to the music industry or school; I have chosen school. I have a dream of graduating not only college but business school as well. I want to say that this choice is not for everybody, but after a lot of thinking over the past few months it is for me. I also am trying to live a healthier lifestyle. We in the scene know how hard that is and it’s important to me to start working in an environment such as a gym. This change is about me bettering myself and I hope you guys support this. This is the right decision for me. I always tell people to follow their heart, and I’m taking my own advice. This is what is right for me. And I know it better than anyone. I My facebook account will be removed tomorrow night. I may sell it to someone offering to buy it but I’m leaving this message up for that amount of time. So tell someone who you think would want to see this. To dispel any possible rumors that will circulate, this has nothing to do with Motive. Motive has always been fair, kind and straight up with me. I have a very deep respect for them and the Motivators in general. Being involved with Motive was the most fun part of my whole journey. With that being said some shout outs are in order...let me first start with a few people in no particular order. Marvin Street, I know we have each other blocked but thanks for giving me my first opening in LA. Despite the fact we didn’t end on a good note you’re an inspiring charismatic guy who knows how to “go hard”. Really glad I can say I played Avalon mainstage and it’s thanks to you, without you many wouldn’t get that honor to say, big ups in that regard. Best to you and your dreams and your family man. Dennis Framed, your confidence is completely unshakeable and for that I admire you. Your poker face is perfect and you are one of the smartest social guys I have met in this scene, hope the best for you and Olivia. You were the first one to make me a headliner and get a bunch of heads to the show at the same time. Also hooked me up with Sutra, you helped me a lot man...thank you so much. Jason Jay, wow man you are one different guy, in a great way! With so much experience and so much knowledge you were the one I talked to the most when I had a problem, needed advice and you were always there for me. You’re a great dude and the scene is lucky to have had someone like you in it after all these years. Stay up and keep shooting for the stars my bro, don’t ever change either, you’re the man! Cesar Mendoza, yeah I can’t leave you out. You helped me get my name out there in the rave scene along with Dennis and Jason. We might not be on good terms but we worked well together for a little while. Good luck to you man...despite the BS...I know you have a good heart. Chelsea Fuller and Kaity Rogers...you guys started it all. Meeting you at Pajama Jam 2 years ago, getting to know you guys, having you both promote my name and let me use your accounts to tell promoters to book me. Sorry if I abused it at times, love you two. (God Jesus Christ look what we started when it comes to other people using accounts, now all of Facebook is being blown up with wall posts! Hahaha) Crystal Harrison...damn...can’t believe you’re gone...I don’t care what people said you were a freaking awesome person and at times I feel you were painted out to be something you weren’t. You truly had a great soul and some of the best times I ever had were with you. Should have been there more for you at the end I knew you were reaching out. I’ll remember that for my whole life. Nicholas Enyart...it’s been a minute but you definitely admired me more than anyone I ever had worked with when it come to me DJing...you had a great heart bro and no matter how hard live hits you I want you to keep going and going and pursuing those dreams. Go with yourt heart man...go with your heart. JUICY/Kay Fellows...you grew my network more than anyone. I feel like you picked me out of anyone in LA to join you as the LA resident and helped me separate myself. You also allowed me to make some good friends. Thanks for taking me along to the out of states, good freaking times even if we’d wake up with massive headaches and needed to keep moving lol. Crystal EDM...we’ve been best friends, worst enemies but overall you definitely pushed my name almost more than anybody....I really respect what you’re doing with American Heart Association and I hope you continue to help out and become a leader in their company. Thomas Landaverde...you’re a big bro to me. You taught me a lot and were also a stream of knowledge that I always went to. I know you disagree with what I’m doing right now but I know you still support me. You really are a great fountain of intelligence and you will be a millionaire one day haha. Anyone who ever was apart of my gogo team....you guys helped me out way more than I helped you and that’s the truth. No matter where we stand right now thank you so much. Rehab DJs...despite the ego battles we all faced I want you to know I found something to admire in each one of you...it was the best of times and the worst of times but we had some fun ones. Underground DJs...some of you I can honestly say inspired me to be more into the skills rather than the promo & show, I always loved the show but you guys pushed me to enhance my skills so thanks. But special shout out to the XTRNL crew they pushed me to get on CDJs and yes guys you were right...it’s a lot more fun and it adds the whole “art” to DJing. Motive finished the process, but you guys started it all. Glad we became friends even if we said things about each other behind our backs. Stupid shit but hey people are people. Got love for that crew. Producers/DJs who were making good tunes and perfected their mixing skills and grudged on me because I focused more on promo...I understand your guys side, still don’t completely agree but I respect the passion and respect the fact you guys put everything into the sound design, mixing, mastering and are 100% responsible for your songs when most artist who make it these days aren’t even close to that. Keep doing what you’re doing, after picking up 4 people from the Motive shows I can tell you they all said they focused nothing but on the music, so keep it up. Hope some of you guys make it no matter what we said to each other. Motivators...YOU GUYS WERE THE BEST PART OF MY JOURNEY! I’ll say it again. My ultimate goal was to be a good role model for you guys. I know a lot of you looked up to me so I hope I succeeded in that. Best thing I can tell you is I know it seems weird because I’m leaving but I always told you guys to follow your hearts so I’d be a hypocrite if I didn’t follow mine. I hope some of you really step up and become leaders. I know a lot of you have it in you, please don’t let Motivators die, I want to hear from people that Motive is blowing up and killing it harder than ever. Stay with Motive...they will take care of you. Don’t listen to what anyone else tells you, I have nothing at stake and I’m telling you this. Jeff/Steph/Chris/Trevor/Nathan and all the Motive fam. It’s been my honor to work with you guys, it was truly the most professional experience I have ever had in this scene. You guys know how to make shit happen and I hope you guys go all the way!!! Motive deserves it more than anyone and I’ll stand by that. Danielle....we have something very special, I love you so much. I see a strong future in us and I’m glad you’ll be continuing my journey with me. You stood by me no matter what anyone said, hell some people even made some damn good points, and you’re still with me. You, Emmett and I are certainly going to have a very bright future. I love you
