Hello, internet friends, family, and assorted hangers-on. While this may be a surprise to some of you, others may know that I, along with my beautiful wife Tracey, have recently authored a contemporary fantasy novel. The story is one that we have crafted together, using what spare time we could afford during lunch breaks, in the evening times after chores and errands, and whenever we had a few moments to focus and write. The end result is a tale that we are quite proud of, and hope that others will have as much enjoyment reading as we had writing it. While we have been submitting query letters to literary agents over the past few months regarding representation for mass-market publishing, such an avenue is not the easiest for unknown authors. Accordingly, Tracey and I have also decided to make the leap into self-publishing, via the very useful and handy tools provided by Amazon.Com. The crux of the story centers around a young man who discovers that magic and magical creatures are alive in the modern world, though they are not necessarily all that well.
