Hello members who are interested in improving their skills of writing and those who might help us in revealing their own experiences: In contrast to reading and listening as receptive skills, writing and speaking are conceived to be the productive skills through which the learners capacities of acquiring a new language might be approved. As far as I am concerned, I think that speaking is not as important as writing because the latter is more formal and academic in addition to that it makes you more close to the standard English. The way I have improved my writing was through both selecting the well structured expressions and using my own techniques. I used to read English novels and analytical essays. The thing that much motivated me to improve my English was a classmate of mine. Her writing was unique because she knew how to use the passive voice intelligently instead of the active in almost all her writings. When writing, the analytical and the descriptive methods are recquired for better improvement. Thus, everyone of us should avoid narrating things. I would like to receive your useful comments that include all that you know and all that you have experienced about writing.
