Im a 2nd year marketing student and doing a project for my Sales course and wish to get in contact with a B2B sales person or manager so they can answer some questions please and thank you. My questions are: • How do you typically qualify a prospect, “a prospect is a qualified person or organization that has the potential to buy a salespersons product or service” • What motives do your prospects usually have to buy your products/services? • Once motives are established, how do you qualify for means? • Where do you typically find your prospects? • Do you plan your prospecting, the process of identifying potential customers”, strategy in each individual case? • Which prospecting methods do you use? Direct mail? Telemarketing? E prospecting or prospecting using social media? Lists or directories? • Which work best for you to close sales? • If you mainly prospect through referrals, do you have a referral cycle? When do you normally ask for a referral, in the pre-approach stage? In the Presentation stage? In the product or service delivery stage? In the follow-up stage?
