Hello permies, I just wanted to say hello from Maastricht and keep you updated about our permaculture efforts! I am back in university and it is quite frustrating to hear only about negative stuff and criticism of the system the whole time, the energies can be quite bad sometimes. So I am trying my best to promote the idea of permaculture and showing people that there are solutions (which remain embarrassingly simple) ;) Here are some projects that we have been working on and some pictures from our garden: - 0 € chicken coop from pallets with drop-through-shit system and easy-open-roof - sheet mulching the garden - wood chipping the garden for mulch (watch Back to Eden) - herb spiral - made some apple puree after plucking apples - one of our 2,40 m Weed plants - trying to groundcover with winter rhye (Fukuoka Style) - 0 € greenhouse attached to house wall for additional warmth - basic worm composting system - one of our chickens - plant propagation - our living room full of stuff from a dumpster diving trip Hope this email finds you all well.
