Hello please, Admin can delete if inappropriate. Please do not be insulted or think that a parent of a young child is insinuating that you have an unfriendly dog if they stop their child from running up to pet your dog. Just as dogs need to be trained, kids also need to be trained. We are trying to teach our children to be cautious of new animals and to proceed with caution. Your dog may be friendly, but the next dog may not like kids and the outcome wont be pretty for anyone including the dog. Please allow for a great teachable moment and help to make these interactions positive for everyone!
