Hello to all who know me out there! It has been so lovely seeing faces from the past. For the people who dont know, here is a bit about what I have been up to: After leaving the Halifax at Cheadle Hulme, worked with the Halifax at Manchester for 12 years. I then had the wonderful chance of taking voluntary redundancy and early retirement in April 2010. From August 2010 to the present I now work at Stepping Hill Hospital in general surgery supporting the medical secretaries working in the department of breast, upper GI and colorectal. I absolutely love it! Our sons, Mark and Adam, are both now married. Mark and Liz have Ava aged 3 and Tom aged 5 months. Adam and Sam are expecting their first on Boxing Day. I look after Ava three days a week and work two days which I think is perfect. John and I have been travelling quite a lot. We have travelled up and down both sides of America and into Canada, been to a lot of city breaks including Prague, Rome, Amsterdam, Krakow, Bruges and Cork. We have been on a cruise down the Nile, went on a safari to Kenya to see the migration (hot air balloon was fab) and this year just come back from a tour of China including a cruise on the Yangtze river. We have just booked a cruise to the Caribbean visiting five islands, Venezuela, Brazil and going deep into the Amazon. Think thats about it!
