Help Build a Research Resource for #multipleendocrineneoplasia The National Institute of General Medical Sciences supports a DNA biobank and cell repository at the Coriell Institute for Medical Research in Camden, NJ, USA. This biobank creates cell lines, DNA and other materials from blood or tissue samples and makes these important resources available to scientists worldwide to facilitate research on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. We are interested in collecting samples from individuals with rare, inherited genetic diseases, with a particular focus on heritable cancer syndromes like multiple endocrine neoplasias. Donation requires a blood or tissue sample and completion of an informed consent form, a submission form and a clinical information summary form. Coriell provides a sample collection kit and covers the cost of shipment. We can also reimburse donors up to $40 for any costs associated with having blood drawn.
